DID YOU KNOW? Buti grew up in a small home in Lethabong, a township near Rustenburg. Buti was raised by his single mother Francinah Tsebe, a woman of strength and dedication who earned a meagre R550.00 per month working as a domestic worker. Despite living in poverty with many days where even food was unavailable, his mother insisted on Buti attending school. Buti knew that the only way out of poverty was through hard work and excelling at school. After he matriculated he remained unemployed for almost 3 years and had to do odd jobs to help his mother and family survive. Buti’s success was due to his mother’s commitment, drive and sacrifices. To show his gratitude for all that his mom had done, Buti surprised his mom in 2007 with a brand new house in Tlhabane West and surprised her further when trucks arrived with furniture for her new house. Buti’s favourite quote:
“Never let go of a dream until you are ready to wake up and make it happen.”
